The Library offers books, DVDs, music, books on CD, video games and downloadable resources for every age group. The brand new two-story facility houses not only materials to check out but also 2 computer labs, meeting and study rooms.

Mission

The Pelham Public Library is a central gathering place in which the community may engage with one another as well as the universe of ideas. The library commits to serving a diverse community made up of people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We provide the community with materials and programming for educational, cultural, and recreational purposes, affordable access to technologies, reliable information (both print and digital), access to diverse resources, and kind helpful staff.

Programs

The Library offers something for every age group. Preschool story times are presented every Wednesday morning and Thursday evening. Each summer we host a reading program during the months of June and July for kids and Teens, and we offer various special programs throughout the year for kids, teens, and adults.

Pelham Library Guild

In addition, the Pelham Library Guild offers numerous volunteer opportunities. Members support the Library and community by hosting fundraisers, volunteering at the Library, and much more. Look for more information about the Guild on our homepage.

Sensory Inclusion

As of May 2019 the Pelham Library is a Sensory Inclusive location. We partner with KultureCity to improve our ability to assist and accommodate guests with sensory needs. Our objective is to provide an inclusive and seamless experience for all guests including those with sensory needs.

We strive to raise awareness of the needs and challenges faced by individuals with sensory processing disorders by supplying our Team Members with continuous training and by offering resources and accommodations to our guests.
