USTA

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the recognized leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the U.S. Alabama is a apart of USTA Southern, which also includes Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Southern's 137,000 members represent more than 25% of the USTA membership. At the Pelham Racquet Club, we offer USTA leagues for men and women of all ages and skill levels.

Ladies Interclub Tennis League

Birmingham's Ladies Interclub Tennis League is a local league in the Birmingham metro area.  Our club plays teams from clubs all over the city, both private and public.  Matches consist of three doubles courts and are not age-specific.  LITL is offered three seasons of the year: Spring, Fall, & Winter.  Each level plays on different days of the week.  Please click here to visit their website!

Women's Softcourt League of Birmingham

The Women's Softcourt League of Birmingham is the largest non-USTA league in the Birmingham Metro area.  18 clubs around the city compete from levels 2.5-5.5.  Matches consist of four singles courts and four doubles courts, and ladies can play both if interested.  The league is designed to be competitive and social, as home teams provide snacks and lunch for the visiting teams.  For more information on the league, Please visit the official league page.

Non-Member League Fee

To play leagues at Pelham Racquet Club, you must be a member. Memberships can be paid in full when you join, or you can set up a monthly bank draft. Regardless of which payment option you choose, the cost of a one-year membership is the same price. We do offer a seasonal league membership. The cost is $40 per player, with a maximum of six players per team. This is only for one season and one team only.
